Graig Chapman started playing the trombone at the age of 9.  After quitting the instrument the next year, he went into a two-year musical hiatus.  At the age of 12 he picked the instrument back up, under the guidance of Mr. Dan Waldron.  Graig went on to play along with multiple all-county and all-state ensembles and  the local high school jazz band and rock band, on his way to becoming an original member of the Usual Suspects.  After playing with the group for a couple of years, he moved away with his family; making stops in Tampa, Florida and New York, New York.  Graig recently moved back to the area, rejoining the Usual Suspects for New Year's Eve 2008 and on into the future.
