Bios

Jim Lapallo, saxophones, is a school teacher in the Olean School District. He began his musical career in elementary school when he began to study the saxophone. He has played with many  bands over the  years including but not limited to,The Big Band Revival Orchestra, Southern tier Swing, Happy Faces, Usual Suspects, Bob Lucia and Seven Swing Street, and several jazz ensembles. His favorite music is jazz and some of his key influences are Dexter Gordon, Ben Webster, Duke Ellington, Lester Young, and big band/jazz groups. Jim has been with Usual Suspects since the group formed in 2001.
